Winter Wonderland {Phillips Family}

Trying to schedule photos in the winter is always a little tricky but today we awoke to a fresh snow fall in Brewster that just happened to make it's appearance right when I was hoping for it!  This family is so great and were willing to go hiking through the drifts for me.  Even though it was colder in the snow, a winter wonderland was a fantastic background!

Christmas Baby {Elijah David}

Since it's not too far past Christmas, I thought this would be the perfect way to celebrate the season.  This little 9 day old was absolutely a blast to work with, even being a little bit awake, he participated quite willingly, which was surprising for being such a little guy!  This is the sequel to the maternity pictures of the Brennan family and I really love their Christmas theme throughout!

Christmas is such an extravagant time of year and provides wonderful backgrounds anywhere you go.  This shoot was originally supposed to be in the great outdoors but thanks to last minute rain, that was not an option.  Instead we opted to take it to the streets of Spokane in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the chaotic shopping aspect of Christmas. One reason I like these photos is because it shows that even during the busiest times there is always a time for a still moment for family and celebration.  Welcome baby Elijah!
