Rudy's 2nd Birthday {Chelan}

For this sweet group of siblings we ventured down to the water to explore some beach areas that are normally hidden in the Chelan summers due the water levels.  The main purpose was to document Rudy's 2nd birthday which is in a couple days.  I always appreciate the bright colors and combinations this family wears, it makes them stand out in the best way possible!  The older girls are so used to me now they already have poses lined up for when I do a couple of them solo.  Rudy was exactly like I expect a 2 year old boy on the beach to be, always curious and loving the exploration of it all. Sticks and rocks are always a favorite of little guys and I have to say that capturing them in their element is really my favorite, even though we did end up getting a couple posed ones as well!

Eden's Newborn Session {Chelan}

Newborns change so incredibly fast, these pictures are always so enjoyable because it really captures a time that lasts for such a short time.  It's probably one of my favorite stages, even though I'm also loving my own son's 2 year old stage of exploration and hilarious anecdotes!  Eden was so similar to her older brother that I had the privilege of working with only 2 years ago!  You can see his session here.  That newborn session is still one of my all time favorites!  I think Eden's adorable little mouth is one of the best parts because you can already see so much personality with her.  We of course had to include big brother and big sister and they were more than happy to give her lots of love!

Ellis' Newborn Session {Brewster}

So many baby girls lately and this group of sisters is just adorable!  Ellis was the most calm and relaxed little one, sleeping through all kinds of loving and moving around with the proud big sisters! I just love her little pout and even a couple smiles that she gave me!

Johanson Family Maternity {Alta Lake}

This sweet session took place in a gorgeous park area close to where I live and the snow was probably 4 feet deep in some places!  This family is so genuine and enjoyable to work with.  Taylor and I were already friends from her two year old session, and I simply adore her expressions, her big blue eyes are the best! I can't wait to meet her sister once she makes her appearance!

Valdez Family {Chelan}

Seeing a family's story unfold before my eyes is one of the best parts of photography.  I have had the privilege of working with this family since the little one was born and every time is such a great experience.  I really miss the warm weather we had during the fall and this bright session was one of my favorites this fall.  The Valdez family always makes my heart swoon with their adorable outfits, striking colors and happiest kids!

Torkelson Maternity {Brewster}

Amie and Dakota are welcoming their first baby any day and I had the privilege of working with them just a few days ago.  When I was going over these I had a hard time deciding on my favorites because there were so many fun ones!  The colors in this session remind me a lot of fall even though it was February!  I've been able to document their family twice now and you can see their sweet summer session here.  One aspect I adore about this couple is that they are so lovey and full of expression!  I've known them since their high school days and it's always wonderful to see how much a couple changes and matures throughout the years.
